Looks great Robb. Do you mind me asking what size tyre/rim combo. you are using because it looks aggresive yet keeps with the natural elegant lines of a 308.

Ah, the taillights... Some 308's did leave the factory with the signals on the inside. In fact, I think Bret's QV is like that. Willis H. mentioned he saw 360's ahead of him that they too had lighting arrangements different than his. The general consensus was maybe Mario had too much vino at lunchtime and could care less what position they were in...

Ron,
Not to be critical, but you spelled lights wrong. The "t" and the "h" are switched. The h should should be on the inside and the t should be on the outside. (Just kidding).

Actually you are right. I went back and looked at my first photos of the car and found that they were in the correct position before they were removed when the car was painted. Looks like I get to spend my Saturday fixing it. Thanks for pointing this out. I would hate for somebody to think it was a kit car because the lights were reversed.

Rob,
YOu have a beautiful car.. Not to be critical, but your tail ligths are reversed...The amber lights go on the outside and the red break lights go inside...

Very nice job! I am a recent first time Ferrari owner. I just bought my 1981 308 GTBi in May 2002.

Yes, those are perforations. However, the sound quality from the original (1980) speakers make it sound like the music must come through the door panel. I think I just figured out my next project....new speakers.

Robb, I noticed on your doors, where the speakers should be, is a faint outline of the Prancing Horse and the Shield. Is the outline perforations for the sound to pass through? If so, NICE TOUCH...

I have owned this for over a year but have just completed my "make it look like new" project. New paint (including wheels), new carpet, restain of leather interior, new tires, and just this weekend it received new instrument panel bulbs. (The bulbs may sound like a small item but what a difference for night driving). I refer to this as my "first Ferrari" as I know there will be more.
