If I'm not mistaken, it's a BOAT (literally). See the sign, as well his VW Beetle art piece is also a boat. -Ben |

I wonder if the added weight does anything for performance! What do you fill this baby up, Peter's Plant Food and if which grade 20-10-3 ? Next question how do the wood tires handle in the rain and what do you do if you have a nail in the tire? |

I don't know Ben, I just typed it out as it was written in the mag. If your friend took the pictures there, obviously the mag's wrong (although the article in PH said it was for sale, maybe whoever bought it, brought it down to Vegas). |

They talked about this in Prancing Horse #139. It is on view at the Ashland Hardwood Gallery, in Ashland, Oregon from may 10th to July 10th (just a few days left if you want to take a look in person). I haven't seen it in person, but from the photo in the mag, the nose looks awfully high and stubby. |

Well this isn't a joke, it is for real... you can have this one of a kind Ferrari for under $200k. This is not a kit car, but a hand crafted artistic piece of automotive machinery. a friend of mine saw it and knew that it'd be something I'd enjoy seeing, pics here: http://www.ofoto.com/I.jsp?m=70512456103&n=1905105256 notes on it here: http://www.craftsreport.com/may01/woodenautomobile.html Enjoy, -Ben |
