Also agree with you on the 6speed. Had both a coupe and spider 360F1, and got rid of both. Ended up with a 6speed spider. | ||

No at the time of the picture I had both but I sold the SL500. The SL 55 didn't come out until 6 months after the non AMG version so I had both for about a month | ||

Vern... do u think you'll get the 360's replacment...? BTW, my friend has almost the same kind of Modena... black w/ F1 system... but his interior is black w/ red stiching... Des I think we have just change the thread. To answer your question. I have never had any problem 4,000+ miles, but I think it is to much of an automatic feel. It is a little more complex than the system on the SL 55 but is still very automatic like. My personal opinion is the Manual is the way to go. | ||

Why not...? If i'm being nosey, just brush me off- i only ask 'cause i'm somewhat intrigued and afraid of F1 transmissions, all at the same time... Intrigued, because, well... Vernon, very sweet... i agree, black is a no-nonsense color... i would just assume that the interior is black, too, but your second-to-last picture shows what appears to be a rather light-colored steering wheel... Is it a different color than the exterior...? MerceDES...? What MerceDES...? | ||
