Hubert, certianly the crank and accesories (rotating assembly) are balanced...but that work is done on a machine, not by hand. Regards, JRV |

jrv- noticed that you mention balancing rods, pistons, etc. to 0.5g; do you also balance the rotating assembly? |

More assembly. Ready for engine instalation.(notice the 212 dash hanging on the wall)
Into the car it gently goes.
And in it goes. When you get to this stage it's time to smile.

More assembly Going back into the car. (notice 53 212 to the right also being restored)
Assembled and double checked awaiting installation
The block, cleaned, machined, prepped, painted ready for assembly. (notice old Borgo pistons, not being reused)

More assembly. Notice the Triple Beam Scale....all Ferrari Engines should be balanced to within 0.5 grams, imo, first rods are wieghed and balanced, then pistons, then units. (notice wieghts noted on pistons)
Front suspension re-fitted
Rear Suspension reassembled to the frame
