How low can you go?? I don't believe there is such a thing as a low esteem vehicle. I at times drive a 1987 Audi around (usually to the airport) with 105,000 miles (I think it's in one of the below pictures). It's beatup, but it goes. I've always been thankful to live in a country that allows me to play with these cars. I respect them all, even an old Honda.
I do marvel at how people will treat you as they regard the car you're in. It honestly never made sense to me. I knew a guy the had more money then I'll ever see and he drove a four year old Ford around, you'd never know.

It's good to see that you have a diversed interest in cars. From a 328 to a TransAM to a Fiero is quite a stretch. Some of us Ferrari owners are quite snobbish (or should I say, loyal?) about what other cars they drive. And I say this not necessarily in a negative way.

In my household we also have a P-car, a MB ML, and a 1988 Honda Civic, which is my daily driver. I nickname it my L.E.V. (low esteem vehicle). I love that car.

Bob, thanks for your congrats: I very much appreciate the well wishes: 25 years with this girl has been a blessing.

Lens: I went over and checked the GTB out, What a beauty, still one of the best looking car ever built. I asked you about the 143,144 and 146 recalls, where do I go to find out.
Thanks, JOHN

John,

Your 328 looks great! I have an 86 328 GTB S/N 61015 that I purchased a few months ago. (Check out 1986 328 GTB in this section.) Im curious, were all the recalls (service campaigns) performed on your car? 143, 144, and 146?

Sorry I hope I'm not boring you all, but when someone asks me about cars, I can't quit. A year ago, I also purchased a 1988 Fiero Formula. V6, etc. I don't know why I did it, but couldn't say no. It's actually fun to drive and you would be surprised at how the two cars match up in general. Open the back of the Fiero and the layout is the same as the 328. When I retire, this car will be my restoration project.
I wouldn't mind seeing your cars posted here, hope you take the time to do it. John

Sorry, I'm not paying attention I drive a 740i M-Class: 1999 was the first year for the new model. I'm scheduled to turn it in this January/2002. Will probably lease the same car, it moves pretty good for a 740i.

Stewart, good to hear from you as well, I surprised my wife with this one, but it's true she always liked this model. Made some good points here I can say.
I couldn"t even think of a second especially a 456, oh well, my Trans Am and I will have to do.
Good talking to you, John

If your wife has a 328, John what kind of car do you have?

Very nice John! Your wife has good taste.
I tried talking mine into a 2nd Ferrari but she opted for a P-car instead. I guess Ferrari does not have Tiptronic and we cannot afford the 456GT.
