Actually the roads were kind of clear. I did hit a few spots but was mostly driving through town very slow. These cars are not so bad in the rain. I got caught a few times and was surprised it did ok.

I am!! I don't drive my 328 in the rain or snow but last month I was heading home and I got caught in the snow. LESS THAN AN INCH
and my car "fishtailed" many times at the interstate even at low speeds! Very poor front tire traction. Too much steering input will get the car off track. I thought I'd never go home in one piece. Was a good lesson for me!!

Do I expect this kind of "behaviour" too on mild rainy days?
