The part is made by delphi and the mecanic called the dealer and found it for us. The Service rep was not to happy that he did that. |

No its not my car. We were on the run in the Nsx and took some of these pics. The 550 broke down in Texas durring a 18 hour over night run. It was leaking water all over the place and running real ruff. We stoped a gas station and the bar gauge went to the top. It was low in oil so we put some 10w40 in it because that was all they had. That is a german car and they run alot richer octane than we do so at every gas station they were buying lots of octane boost. We just happened to spot a dealer off the high way as we drove by. What are the chances of that. It turned out that the check valve was bad on the exhaust and the dealer couldnt get the part for 3 hours so I went to the gmc dealer next door and got one for 19.00 bucks. The sender ended up being bad on the bar gauge and the ac run off hose broke off when we hit some road kill that was all over the road and stuck up inside the car. The dealer got the check valve 2 hours later and wanted 129.00 for it. [Nice mark up] As for the crash the guy driving it wasnot going that fast the person driving the car the day before turned of the traction control and didnt tell him. He spun it and hit a guard rail. |
