well, your also comparing totally different engines, the M is obviously quicker(even in cabriolet form) the amg should obviously feel torquier with a V8 at hand...

quattro is great, i'd recommend the e39 wagon(w/snow tires for the winter) to the A6...but perhaps im bias...:-)

Hey thanks for the comments (Ahem, Shelbee):-). The M3 certainly feels lighter, and a little more perky, and much more nimble. The interior is soft and plush. The Benz has a much better torquey feel, it's hard, sharp interior is classy, and it's solid and like a yacht. They are both very small, but the C43 seem bigger. The AMG corners surprising well, but the M will still take the cake. Both great cars, but way different.
What kind of Audi did you get? A4 of A6? They are both pretty sweet. Sure better than my Subaru Outback!

I see we've got the same mountain bike. I used to have 5 series bimmers, but needed the AWD and got an Audi (didn't want a station wagon). Great looking cars.

When I said "the next best thing", I certainly was NOT referring to my camera! DOH!
