I've 'ridden' in the Peel Street Parade once two years ago. I was in a friend's TR at the time. Incredible parade with a Canadian Police escort - and a cool showing to introduce many newcomers to the Ferrari marque. I have noticed a disturbing trend, however - more and more pedestrians are showing up to the Peel Steet event, making it more and more congested. Even worse, many owners are skipping it to avoid having people they don't know 'touch' their cars. I have seen some Ferraris participate in the parade, only to bail out at the end to hide their cars somewhere else and not park them on Peel. Sad. |

I too am an ex-Montrealer. I was born at Cite de la Sant in Laval and I lived in Chateauguay, Pincourt, Notre-Dame de l'ile Perrot, Vaudreuil before making my way to BC in March 1998! My parents still have a cabin in the laurentian mountains north of Montreal and we go there oftenly! |

Nope, not my GT4, but it looks exactly like mine! I notice the Luigi Sports Cars decal in the side window... I always loved going there as a kid to look at the cars. Mr. Luigi (Luigi Della Grotta) was always extremely nice and patient and would answer any of questions, let me take pics of cars and even sit in them! Two years ago when my parents went back to Montreal, they stopped by to visit for me and told him I have a Ferrari now. They said he had tears in eyes! Is he still around? If there's only one place I'd visit in Montreal, it would be his... |

New pics... BTW: Is there anyone out there still in Montreal? I graduated from St. Pius X in '81 in the north/east end. Live in Westmount and work downtown now. Enjoy!

You guys aren't the only ex-Montrealers. I too was born at the Royal Vic. Lived in Westmont, Chateauguay, and St. Leonard before we left for BC in 1979. Became a snowbird in 1984 and haven't looked back since. Only regret is you can't get St. Hubert chicken in Alabama.

Cool. What High School did you attend? I went to P.C.H.S., Class of '93. After there, I went to John Abbott CEGEP. Moved out to B.C. in '96... I loved Montreal, but needed to get away from the political/language problems... |

Here's some pictures taken yesterday, let me know if you want to see some more. Mostly 328's, 355s etc. Oddly enough everything was red except for 2 cars. This is strange because Montreal has tons of multi-colored cars - probably a dozen in my neighborhood that aren't red.
