I just bought a 79 308GTS myself. Like you, without even seeing it in person. It's black. I just put 16 in speedlines on it. The chrome ones that are the 550 style. I've driven the heck out of it already. The more I drive it, the better it runs. Good luck with yours. It looks sharp. |

Thanks, the shields are stuck ( glued? ) I like the look myself. Today I am going to check sync on the carbs, have done this many times on my MGB (2 SU HIF carbs ), have never worked on webers before, wish me luck. It has an Anza exhaust also, between the carbs and exhaust it sounds great. |

Beautiful car Bob ! I guess you have carbs? Must sound great. Are your fender shields stickers, magnets or integrated like a GTO. People have mixed opinions about these but I like them. I have magnets and I put on some days. |

They are Speedlines 16x7 & 16x8, bought the car over the phone, based on pics and maint. records. I was very pleased when it got here ( 2 wks ago today ) to find that brand wheel on it. Still going over everything to make sure it is right. |
