A few weeks ago I weighed my car (1977 GT4 #13834) on a recently certified scale. 3105 lbs. with 1/3 tank of gas, lighter than I had expected. |

Hi Larry, according to my owners manual, dry weight is 3009 lbs. Biggest differences seems to be reduced bumper weight (they are mostly there for appearance) and reduced bracing in the trunk area. There are also no cat converters, no muffler diaper, no side lights, no intertia reels on the seat belts, etc. |

Sunroofs were not a common installation on earlier cars, but from about '78 onwards, just about every GT4 (that I know of) has one. Larry Dunn showed me those pics of your car some time ago, The amber turn signals were on Euro cars only. But I'll add here that on the GTB/S series, the lights sometimes switched places for no consistant reason (most have turn signals in the outermost position, whereas a few - like Bret's car - have the turn signals within). I wouldn't be surprised if someone in Maranello did the same thing with this US GT4. |

My GT4 has amber turn signals. I always considered it normal along with a sunroof until I started looking closer at other GT4s. Anyone have any data on how many 77's were optioned with a sunroof? image{308 left rear.jpg} |

The problem is that they are each one complete assembly (at least according to the parts manual). And then it is a Euro part. I would initially look at Rutlands and also someplace in the UK, e.g. www.douglasvalley.co.uk . |

Perfect! On a different topic, how easy (or more likely difficult) would it be to get a hold of the amber turn-signal lenses for the rear light clusters? I've been contemplating on whether to get some for my car. |

This is our Euro GT4, on its way to where it belongs, the open road. Carbs, now with 99320KM, should roll over to 00000 by the end of the month :-)
