>>You know, the silly dogs from the Far Side cartoons. Always up to something, but playing innocent.<<

HAHAHAHAHA!! That's hilarious. Never heard that term before, but so fitting! There are attributes I didn't know how to describe in one of my dogs, and Far Side sums it up perfectly!

Cheers

Casey was part Rottweiller, part German Sheppard, part Chow, but mostly Far Side dog.

You know, the silly dogs from the Far Side cartoons. Always up to something, but playing innocent.

I propose that from this time forward, September 29 be known as Casey Day in F-Chat.

See new thread for pictures of my car. I just bought some GTO style wheels which will be on in a month.

Mule,
I was sad to read about Casey. We lost a dog earlier in the year. She was the only one that I would take on rides with me (she didn't shed) and she is missed. By the way, do you have any other shots of your car. I was originally looking for a Black/Black '89 before I found my current car. I'm still a sucker for that combo and I would love to see some more photos. :-)

No Ty,

The dog hauler is the Corvette. I had a custom made partition for them to sit on the trunk area with a mesh thingy that provides shade for them. I used the targa roof stowage anchors and created (well, commissioned a machine shop to create) anchors for their doggy seat belts. Also upgraded the rear speakers (look stock thought!) to make room for some A/C vents to keep them cool. The ducting was a pain and there had to be a little cutting but it's all internal and not visible. Funny thing is that in an effort to keep the car looking stock, the cold air comes out of the corner of the speaker!

Now I have this stupid idea to make the car a track car, so I might have to find a new dog hauler. Wife says M5, I say Gallardo! Hehehe. The Murcielago was the grocery getter. :-)

Cheers

Jerry,
Love the car. See the other threads on "328 as a daily driver", and "Max rear tire size for 328". You will find a lot of good info.

Every 328 should come with a black dog.

Thank you everyone. The good times are being remembered today.

He always wanted to learn to drive, but couldn't keep his eyes on the road, though....Let's keep this thread happy.

DES,
This is my girlfriend's dog, Casey, who loved my car. Notice the Ferrari scarf. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with cancer a month ago and left us today. Big bummer, I miss him riding in the car.

Ty, take your dog for lots of rides.

DES: he LOVES riding in cars. we got him when he was about 4 weeks old and we took him everywhere. i've driven with him a couple times on 700 mile trips and he'll sleep the entire way! i suppose it's no different than some people getting car sick...

How do you get a dog to ride in the car and not barf all over the place... i let a dog ride in my car ONCE and she puked all over the floor... It was gross... i'm not a dog person.

tc: as soon as he got inside the park, it was spastic aussie like you're all too familiar with!
