Thanx Jmg The mounting of the spoiler was I assumed going to be a secondary issue. The marrying up of the top of the doner spoiler to the bottom of the cab bonnet and/or bumper was the primary issue from my point of view. And yes the use of my local bodyshop in Norfolk England was a definate. Locating a doner spoiler whether damaged or a copy, any info from anyone who had done it before me is what I'm hoping for. In the next week or so I'll post some before photos Ive taken, and some after the wheel and rear spoiler that I've finished but not photographed, in my profile. If and when I get the front spoiler sorted I will post pictures of it and post how it went. Stevos |

A 348 bumper will not fit on a T, I assume our mounting points are the same. We looked into it on mine (348 conversion) and the mounting points/sise were an issue. I think your best bet is to work with a body shop to create something new for you using your favorite design as a template. - JMG |

The reason I bought my 1986 Mondial 3.2 cab was because it has 4 seats, is a cabriolet and is a Ferrari. There are however some features that I don't like about my cab. The wheels and tyres, dated and high speed restrictive. Replaced with 225/45/ZR18 fronts and 295/45/ZR18 rears. Grip was always good but now it is awsome. Rear bumper spoiler, dated style. Resprayed to my pref. Front bumper spoiler, just plain bug ugly and very dated. Now this is the reason for the post. Has anyone anywhere in the world ever replaced the front bumper or spoiler or bumper spoiler on a Mondial? If so what did you use? What problems did you encounter? Where did you get the replacmet? My pref is to obtain an F40, TR, 348 type and modify. A 360 style would be better but probably not posible. Any comments help anybody? |
