Carlo, Thanks! Both items were already done when I purchased the car. They do make the car look better I think. The front does get it's share of nicks from the road, but I'm still happy with it. The Cavallino on the front is very easy to install. You'll know what I mean when you get one. It's basically a metalic horse thats attached with a u-shaped bracket that holds in place on the grill. Goodluck. |

David- Nice 348, I own a 92 348 and I would like to paint the front end skirt and side panels. Did you have yours painted to match, or was it already done? I also want to change out the front grill. Did you do that, or was it done when you bought it. Carlo |

Nope, the 400/412 series were Pinninfarina as well. |

Arnaldo - I too was up in the air when deciding on which open air model. Finally it was my budget that made the difference. I didn't really have the extra funds to go with a topless. That's not to say I wouldn't have gone with the same model had I had the money. If you're able, I would definitely try both the GTS and the Spyder out. See what both offer with the tops off at a higher speed. That may make up your mind. And yes, the car is a Pininfarina design. Rob - I think the Mondials were Pininfarina and the 400's were Bertone....but don't quote me on that. |

I think most Ferrari designs since 1954 have been Pininfarina, except the GT4. Were all the 400's and Mondials Pininfarina? I know there were several 348's designed by Zagato, which funny to mention look like a 355, before the 355 existed. Hmm... |

David... I am sorry I forgot to mentioned that I just love the car. I have been considering a 348 TS black, just like yours, for a while now, or perhaps saving some more money to get a black 348 spyder. Photos like these makes me wander if it is really worth it to spend the extra cash when the TS looks so good and offers the air space desired. By the way, does anybody know if the 348 is a Pininfarina design or just Ferrari? |

It's an add-on. The rear is also chromed and not the flat black. |

Does the 1990 348 TS has the prancing horse on the front grill or is it an add-on? I only remember seen them on spyders and on 1993 and up cars. |

Peter...that's my only complaint...keeping it spotless. It's a bear, but when it's clean..watchout!! |

Sweet! Even though our black cars are harder to keep spotless, they sure do look awesome when they are! |

I've owned my 348 since August and have put on about 1100miles. They been pretty much trouble free except for replacing an ecu. Besides that it's been running great and I'm loving every minute of it. |
