Wow thats amazing I wouldn't have even looked twice unless you said so, I have a 92Tr myself in Hk... Can I ask how much it cost... I mean it might have been cheaper (especially in Sing where you have the 150% tariff) just to get a Tr (how much do they go for in Sing?) | ||

Modifications needed to be made to the rear and front bumper brackets. I believe about 1 inch of the bracket needed to be cut as the Testa's bracket was too long. The rear tail light brackets also needed to be modified to fit the round 512M lights. Air intake was a big one. The channels did not line up. A fiberglass "tunnel" had to be fabricated to re-channel the air flow. This mod was important because the air-con condenser would suffer from air depletion during idle and put a strain on the system. The new ducts also served to cool the brakes. A total of 39 parts were used. 3 weeks including repainting and duct work. All parts are original from the local dealer. | ||

I also wanted to update the rear of my TR to that of a 512M. What did you have to do to change it over? I am still interested in doing this upgrade. | ||

Was it easy to mount the the 512 front onto the TR? How many modifications where requried to the car? Did the air intakes match up? Where did you find the front and back? Thanks, Marcus | ||

  Here are the pics...thanks Adam. Its a 1990 Testarossa based in Singapore. I do take it to the Sepang F1 track in KL, Malaysia ever year during track day. Believe me its a beast to handle on the track. | ||

Just completed my modification a couple of months back and thought I'd share it with you. Replaced the front and rear, wanted a more modern look. Other mods include: Tarox 6pot clipers, Tubi exhaust, carbon fiber seats, M rims, high and low HID/Xenon lights. I am having problems uploading the photos...help. Can someone give me an idiot's guide to posting the pics. |
