Steve, thought those tires looked familiar! My car has 16K and I just replaced the original tires last year. I was warned by a couple of different people it would be advisable to do so... not because of the mileage or wear but because of the age. I put on a set of Good Year Eagle F1's and they really look great. Congrats on the recent purchase... they're great cars and incredibly reliable. Since you're from the UK, I'll admit that I owned a TR6 for 11 years prior to my 328... the oil leaked out the bottom almost as fast as I could put it in the filler! I doubt we'll be getting together soon... but I have played that course up to the north of you called St. Andrews... what an experience! Enjoy! |

Hi Bob, Its done 17,000 miles - yes I must agree it is in very good condition - I'm having all the stones chips done at the moment (not many) & getting the underside of the body undersealed. I've only had (owned) the car for 3 weeks & I'm missing her already. You are right about the Goodyears - I belive its pretty difficult now to get the Goodyears - I've about about 4 mm left so I've got a little life in them yet. '89 was the last year of production but my car was actually registered in 1990 (in the UK) so they class it as a 90s car (hence the 89 in brackets). Are you from the UK ?? - If so maybe we will meet one day. Cheers & all the best Steve |

Steve, Based on your pic in Showroom, your car is in great condition. Looks like it even has the original Good Years. How many miles does it have? What's the serial number? I thought '89 was the last year for the 328... why do you say 1990? Late production? Bob |
