Spoke to James at Norwood earlier today.... I'll be there tomorrow at 10:00AM for an oil change. Kind of like an $85 Jiffy Lube!

Edward,
Small world. That is who I thought you bought it from. I did not want to mention his name on the chat board either. I know that he kept the car in good shape. He told me about all the extra work he had done at Norwood's. Had I been in the market at the time, I might have been interested in buying it from him.

Glad to hear that you are enjoying it.

Ken

Ken,
About two years ago, his initials were "CC" (I don't like to mention names on the net w/o permission) He said he needed the $ to finish law school. ????

Jerry,
The best set up for your car , I'll bet, would be the manifold-intercooler from a Euro 208 Turbo. Then you could still use the factory injection system. (after recalibration) I'll also bet your car is something like 9.2 to 1 compression ratio, my car is a Turbo friendly 8.6 (or is it 8.8) to 1

You can handle your bump up in comp. ratio with an intercooler. Note; my car has none, but Ive been thinking about fitting a water to air from a volvo. I will be asking NORWOOD's about this.

Otherwise,,, your gonna have to retard the timing and lose all of the additional HP you designed for the Turbo for, (But you would keep the additional efficiency, my car gets 20 mpG,,,,, or you are gonna have to make friends with an airport oil distributor and buy his AV-Gas for like $3.00 per gallon. All this to avoid the dreaded detonation and melting of a piston.

Jerry,
I have a Burago F40 with crummy racing decals. Think you could help me make some better ones?

Edward,
Did you recently purchase your Mondial? I know a guy I went to law school with who owned a Turbo'd black/black Mondial cab. He sold it within the last year and I am wondering if you bought yours from him.

There was a thread a short time ago about a 308 spyder. This is a shot of the current status of my vision of that idea. Few more rounds of prime and sand, then scribe the new panel line, and paint! Should have pics of that by summer.

Rob,
I like your silver spider in the middle row, on right.

Jerry,

I like the NORWOOD, I'm kind of partial to those wrench heads.
Thanks for the tip on slide off decal paper, where do you get this? Hobby shop?

Rob, you must really like F355's seeing how scott's 6th row contains 4 of them. Nice choice with the 333SP, but i figured i couldnt go wrong with the F50 the F355 challenge and the F1 car. The 1st row was tempting with the two GTO's, the 250 and 288.

Scott's - 6th row from the bottom. I had to go with the race cars and the 3 way on the 355 ain't bad either. Of course, selling the bottom row and then buying anything you wanted would be the cheating answer.

Mine - For sure middle row, how could you go wrong with 2 of the most expensive classic streetable Ferraris and then a modern racer and a modern open top.

If you could have any row of ferraris in the pics which would it be?
scott's- 4th from the bottom
rob's- (im breaking the rules a little) 2nd vertical row from the left.

Scott85, I think that I see 3 Burago TR's in your impressive collection and if I'm not mistaken like mine, there are no external mirrors. To correct this I thought that I might buy a 1/18 Maserati spyder model and take off the mirrors and transplant them! Also, I just bought a 1/8 Pocher TR and it's perfect! Will post pics soon. Don.

Peter, Go to any good model shop and inquire. The trick is in the printing. They must be printed with a lazer printer. There are not that many places (work) that have laser printers. Kinko's does.

OK, I admitt it, I'm a kid too. Glad to see I'm not alone.
My desk at my office has a F50 and Clark F1 Lotus.
I found the Lotus in a small shop in Brevard, NC for $25.00. When i got home Speed Gear wanted $129 for the same car.

Jerry, you mean the same decal transfers you stick in water, usually found in plastic model kits? Where did you get that and who makes it?

I think it looks fantastic!

Her is a little custom job I did for myself. I was going to give it to the guys at Norwood but I felt the quality was good but not great so I held back. These "decals" are made on my computer than printed (with a laser only)on special "slide off" decal paper. Upload

I have the Chrono as well, in yellow. I should post my collection here (lots of other cars in addition to Ferraris).

I picked up 7 matchbox Ferraris the other day when food shopping (yes even I have to food shop eventually for school, try as I may to avoid it). Got a 360, 355 Challenge, 456, 365 GTB4, 156, 333SP, and I had a 308. For now I'll stick to the Matchbox cars, less maintenance than the real models, which as we all know can get expensive.

Rob, with all of those cars on your desk, where do you do your work?

P.S. Your Boxer model, is it the one by Chrono or Kyosho?

Lucky you Rob. I've got 75 or so models in my collection, all 1/24th or 1/25th scale, a few of which I have in my cube. Someone comes in every once in a while and breaks something, just last week the windshield wipers to the 348TS in the picture dissappeared. That's VERY frustrating after spending months building these models.

Only up to 16 right now. They've been in my cube over a year without being stolen. The barbie was a gift of a coworker this Christmas. The pictures on the board are from FCA nats this past year in Dallas.
