Thanks Ray. My yellow 355 Challenge car was one of the cars built by the Ferrari Factory as a Challenge car. I am still learning about the Challenge world but I belive this is somewhat rare. The only thing I know about the springs and sway bars is that they meet the specs to be raced in the US Ferrari Challenge series. The exhaust came from the factory and I am very surprised to see that it has catalytic converters!?!?! Other than the cats, there is only a pair of small in-line mufflers (or resonators) on the car. It is VERY loud and sounds great !

Ray, to those people who say to you that its sad to have your car in your house, tell them to ---- themselves! I would definitely want to park my car in the living room, certainly better to look at than a lousy TV.

It sounds like you're in England, I'll be visiting soon, first in the Portsmouth area, then on to Wimbledon to visit a friend of mine. Wanna meet? Let me know by email. Click on my name above.

PAUL308QV - I like your yellow 355, no doubt, when you have repaired it, you will have a lot of fun with it! Has it got the uprated anti-roll bars, springs etc? Are you allowed to run the Spa Exhaust System on yours? We can't in this country because it is too noisy! I'm going to Spa Francenchamps (Belgium) at the end of this month, that will be the first time I will have used it, making the 'proper' howl.

BRETM - I certainly don't need an 18 year old son thank you, even with a 308! I have 2 daughters of my own, and that is quite enough! (ha, ha). Ferraris don't leak oil, do they???????

'75 308 GT4 (Peter) - In answer to your question, I'm a building contractor and I built the extension on the living room so that I can see my car, while watching the TV! Some people think its sad - but I don't care - I just love the cars, the name and what it stands for!

ROB LAY (Rob328gts) - I race in the GB Pirelli Maranello Ferrari Challenge. I haven't raced this car yet, as we didn't finish preparing it until 3/4 of the way through last season, but I have done some track days with it - Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Castle Combe and last September we were lucky enough to do a track day at Le Mans! I've attached some photos.

Nice to natter to you all - keep in touch!

Ray, a sincere welcome to the chat group. I can't go a day without checking in with this forum and catching up.

I cannot believe how beautiful you Challenge car is ! That finish is unbelievable !

I just bought a 1998 355C that has has some damage to the front left corner. I am prepping the car to go to Classics in NJ (near Bret) next week. I will include a photo below. My car has been raced (by the previous owner) in Venezuela and in the US at Sebring, Lime Rock, Road Atlanta, Pikes Peak, Road America, etc. At least one Win to date. However, mine is no match for the condition of yours. I hope you make a habit of joining us at FerrariChat. Welcome.

You call it the latest addition to your family, hey if you need an 18 year old son who comes with his own 308 just tell me. Seriously though, sweet set up. Another high point to the new Ferraris, an old one would leave various lubricants and coolants on that pretty floor. What other cars are in your family?

Congrats on a great car. Nice garage also. My plan is to have more of a "room" for my Ferrari like yours. That's what they deserve.

Anyway, have you raced it or used it on the track?
