No first drive yet, and I'm already down $2K :-( As part of the deal, we splitted the cost for the major service and while the engine was apart... the mechanic found the water pump to be in a not so good condition. Soooo.... the pump was replaced and the car is finally shipped. I'm very excited, the car is supposed to be here next weekend. So that's my first ferrari experience: zero driven miles, $2,000 down ! | ||

Bret, I came close to getting a TVR 2500M a few years ago... an awesome car, but it just wasn't it. I waited... along came a GT4... the rest is history! | ||

Wow, that was a close one. It's good you made the right choice, if you would have slipped you might have fallen into a world of dull, british, turbocharged vehicles. OK, maybe they're not that bad, but nothing compared to the Ferrari. | ||

Thanks for all the encouragement, you guys had a lot to do with my decision! I have been debating and searching for 8 months over a 348ts or V8 Esprit, and in the end, I broke down and joined your bankrupcy club :-) I'd originally wanted a red/blk, but when I saw David Albright's beautiful blk/blk 348ts, I'm thinking... hey, black is not so bad, in fact it's classy and not so flashy! BTW, it's a '92 348ts with 23K miles. It's being serviced in PA and will be shipped to me (San Jose CA) in a few weeks, I hope !!! First time ferrari owner, Julian | ||
