type in:

\ image{description of your image} -- without the space between the \ and image though

where you want the picture to be. After you click preview/post message it will come up with a text box, click on the browse button and then choose the picture you want off of your computer. You will see it's file location in the text box now, click upload. That's it.

nice car Joseph, I see that you removed the smog equipment. Did you keep the smog pump? I wish I could post a picture here. I have some unusual rims and would like to know their name. Any help you can give me in posting pictures.

I have a web site with more detailed pictures and a video of a Track Day event. It's my first site, I hope to add new features soon.

Call me strange, but I like the look of the 14"wheels. I have an 82 308 GTSi with the dopey 390mm wheels. I like all that black rubber. Look at an early 75 Countach with the old Campagnolo magnesium wheels, then an 85 with the narrow sidewalls. As for sticky, if you aren't racing, wear and safety might be important considerations.

Just thought I would ask about the air-injectors. Mine are capped-off at the manifold connection, they're rusty and look like s---. I'm getting rid of them once I get the motor out. So I take it that you're not too impressed with you're Michelin's? Good to know, so far I've narrowed my choice to Pirelli P4000's. Summer versions are "V" rated and are sized the same (205/70R-14). Anybody else have something to say about this choice? Don't tell me to step up to 16" wheels, unless you are willing to give me the money to buy wheels, because I certainly don't have! My priorities are funds set aside for the motor, not superficial or cosmetic purchases (but then again, its hard to have confidence traveling at 100 mph on 25 year old tires!).

Thank You very much for the compliments on my car. I did spend many hours in the engine bay to get it to it's current condition. The car was repainted about 8 years ago. The car was originally red, no color change.

Peter, the tires on my car are Michilen MXV4 70R14. They are not very "sticky" compared to what you could get in a 16". I am considering Yokohama A008RS Competition tires 225/60R14's. As for the air injectors. They are still in, I capped them about 9" past where the 4 pipes collect into 1. It's been almost 2 years, and no problem yet.

What a beautiful finish ! I love the lipstick gloss. Did you have it painted or did you buy it this way? Your engine is spotless as well. I have a 1984 QV and while it is in great shape, I need to get busy to measure up to your example.

Enjoy !

Great shots! Looks like I started a trend with my GT4 motor picture. We need to see more motor shots, the hearts of these beauties is where it counts!
Joseph, you removed the air-pumps, but did you remove the air-injectors as well? I received an article a while back from Steve Magnusson pointing out that those should be removed and the holes plugged. Left in, they get over-heated and could break off (worst case scenario). They just plainly restrict flow.
Are those 14" wheels? Which model of Michelins do you have on them? I'll be needing tires soon, I'm having a hard time finding a decent set in that old size.
