John,

Those 355 wheels look great. You do need to get those fender to body gaps sorted though, especially the front one!

JOhn,
I was fortunate enough to find my car just the way it is. It had the lower part already done and the top was painted as well. They must have sanded that down because it its super smooth.

As for your rock chips I can recommend: www.stongard.com Their product is awesome. Look at some older posts on this topic. Once you painted the spioler you have never to think about rock chips again.

BTW, I put spacers on my car. 30mm on each side, this is why the car looks so much different from the back. Changed my profile today Picture of my other toy.

I'm not quite sure yet how I'll do it. My uncle owns an auto body shop so he'll know the ins and outs I presume.

Also martin did you sand your top down to make it smooth before you painted it or are you leaving it the rough plastic it is and just painting over it? Bret how about you?

Bret - I am like you as well I liked my black top when I first got the car but have grown sick of it so I am going to get my painted body color to this winter when I get the damn front end repainted from the rock chips I'll pick up this summer! I'm also glad to hear that I'm not the only one who sits in his car when hes bored....I thought I was a big loser! ;P

Martin - I am in total agreement with you on the whole body being one color I think that it makes the car look funny when the lower section is black and the upper another color.....it reminds me of the two-tone corvettes from the early '80....the same corvette that I took my air freshener out of!! :P The air freshener is just in there because the previous owner smoked in the car....bastard! By the way I love the rear pic of your car do you have any others??? I cant wait to get my car out I just installed my new cat replacement pipe from Koenig and want to see what she can do!!

I love the body color painted targa tops, I'm definitely going to be doing mine in rosso corsa to match the body. Originally I like the black tops, now though I think the body ones are so much better looking.

I like the air freshener....so 80s like :-)

just kidding...

Rims look great. what a difference when the rear part is painted body color.... I have my Targa Top done in body color as well. Looks like a TB when closed and same when open.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who sits in his car in the garage. A couple times now I've made my way into the driver's seat and sat there for awhile just thinking and holding the wheel. Since everything is disconnected though it's not too cool. Push the clutch it goes to the floor, the gas pedal goes to the floor, the stick flops around, etc... at least I can still play with the brakes.

Bob - It wasnt quite -10 when I took these pictures it was only about 25 degrees :0( I was really lucky this winter as Minnesoooota (not how I pronounce it!!) had a light winter so I was able to get the car out about once a month at the least.

Kelly -I wish I was lucky enough to be able to get out once a week and cure my fever...heck there are days I just go out and sit in the car in the garage and it makes me feel better! Just to make me feel better take your 308 out for me this week and crank it up to 6500+ RPMs, I'll tell my 348 one of its older brothers is at least having fun! :0)

Everyone -Thanks for the complements on the car!

John,
To make you feel good, great looking car.
To make you feel bad, I can drive my car just about 365 days a year down here in louisianna. Sorry, big guy I really feel for you. I call it Ferrari fever. A once a week drive cures it. But not being able to cure it all winter, is a bummer.

Great looking 348, John... but it sure looks cold there! Top off and it's -10 in Minnesoooota. Ouch.

Whenever I have a shitty day at work, I always know I have my Ferrari back home that makes a day of misery fade away. Very nice looking 348!

Ya the rims I think make a huge difference in the look of the 348. To me it looks better than the 355 cause it stands out more and is more unique looking. I was going to get 360 rims but they were too damn much money!! I'm glad you like the car!

Nice car, the rims make a big difference. I would also have to agree that the Ferrari is indeed the best therapy.

Fab-looking car!

The 355 wheels look like they've always been stock - great modification!

I don't know whether I want to be driving that beast out in the snow!! Scary stuff!

Gorgeous car, John! Absolutely beautiful. And, you're right, there is no better therapy than going for a drive in your Ferrari. You can't help but to get in a good mood. Enjoy!

Just wanted to share a few pics of my car since it is snowing out here and a all around crappy day! Have you ever noticed how you can be in the worst mood, and then go out for a drive in your ferrari and forget all about what was bothering you...its the best kind of therapy. Hope you all enjoy these as much as I do looking at all your cars!
