Re: StonGard ; Don't forget that an extra thick layer gets applied to your fog lamps, so they aren't broken by debris. ( I lost one to a rock once and to replace the fog lamp was $498 )

Yes, Martin gets them from me. I will sell them also for $150. They are real nice. If you want, you can call me at 561-277-1206 to discuss.FYI, I also sell this type of tape.

Paul,

it is more like clear tape, but fairly thick.

Thanks for the kudos. I made a list of about top 10 names and submitted three forms. This was actually #2.

Got your email re: the shields. Aren't those the same that Martin is selling at 150?

Andreas, is it like a clear tape or a paint?
Also, I like your vanity plate!

Yes Paul, it is. It is kinda like a PVC sheeting, that goes over the front parts of the car. Custom made for your car. Covers the wings, lamps etc.

It is known to be an effective way of protection. I looked into it myself, but once I realized, that it comes for standard cars only, I wasn't that interested anymore. Once you put on a different wing/spoiler etc it gets difficult, but if your car is stock, than it's pretty darn good.

Bob,
Try Pete Sanchez at Custom Cars Unlimited. 708-354-7888, 340 E Burlington Ave, LaGrange. They did all the paintwork on my 308 when it burned and did a great perfect job of matching. They gave me a small amount for later touch up.
See you Sunday at Lake Forest?

I need to fix up a few spots on my red 308. Where can I get the right kind of paint/color in Chicagoland? Anywhere or is there a mail order?
