Happy to report that after only two months my car has finally the Viper system in it...
Never gave up on the Goldsound guy and he worked hard with Viper. They gave him the run around (don't they know Ferraris?) as well and kept sending the wrong parts. But now finally all is in and working.
...now it's time to tackle the next project: Sound |

I've always heard that ABT in Niles (or is it Morton Grove) is the best for car installations. I hear they work on lots of very high end vehicles. |

Not familiar with Viper, but I know that the salesman at BestBuy was quick to offer installing a new CD player in my car! I decided against that. Not sure where you're located, but I recall some place near Century City (Clark & Diversey) that does installations. |

I'm having trouble getting a Viper system installed in my 308 GTS (see my other thread in the General discussion). So I was curious if anybody here has some suggestions for an electronics shop, that puts in Viper systems, stereos, radar detectors etc?
The shop I'm having trouble with is Goldsound on Irving Park. Nice owner, but way too reluctant with my car.
I'd prefer a shop in town btw. Just easier to deal with than going to the burbs. |
