Any good pix from last year's event? The ones on the FCA site seemed pretty vague (poor resolution).

Sounds like a good time this year too.

Had a great tme. Put 630 mles on my 308 after getting it out of the shop after a cam belt failure and it ran perfect.
There were some great cars including what was reported to be the second Ferrari ever brought into the USA. BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Got to see a Polo match while sipping numerous Gin and Tonics on a very HOT afternoon. Surrounded by about 125 exotic Italian cars and some great people (met Bob and Chris for the first time) it was a perfect way to spend a Summer Sunday.

The entry confirmation letter I received said we had to have our cars in place as it would open to the public at 9:00 AM. A little different than last year when it was not a public event. Mike Epifanio's number is 847-823-2149, for information. Or I guess you can just come and enjoy.

Does anyone know if the show is simply for current owners? The link that Mike gave was a link to ferrari club with a number to call if you were to attend. I don't want to call as simply an enthusiast(non-owner) if it is owner invite only. I can't tell if the link was just for Ferrari's entering the show.....is there a public admissions as well? Thanks guys...would love to come and get some pics. Let me know.

I'll be coming up from Bloomington IN in my 308 or Maserati Merak, whichever decides it will run that weekend.

I was at the gathering last year at the Car Club. You had to pay the entry fee as there was food, refreshments etc. You don't have to enter your car in the concours: You can enter just to display. Check out the website www.fcacentralstates.org for information as well as other events upcoming. Had a good time last year. There were some great cars and good Italian food.

This is a first for me also, from what I read this is the first time at the polo grounds. I figure the $20 is cheap to assure a decent place to park and good access to the rest of the cars.

The head of the region called me recently, just kind of a 'welcome to the club' call, and he made it sound like you could just arrive and tell them if you wanted to show or display.

By the way, were these tuxedoed waitresses the sexy, demure types?

The open house was pretty good. They had tables set up in the shop area with a nice catered buffet and waitresses dressed in tuxedos.

Lots of nice cars in the shop to look at - off the top of my head there were a few new Maseratis, a 275 GT convertible, a BB, 360 Spyder, 308 GTB, a couple of 355s, and a 333 SP which they started for everyone. There was also a large tubi display with promotional materials.

I'm glad I went to see what the place was like. Peeps were friendly. The shop was immaculate but strangely antique looking. Also lots of shirts, jackets, etc. for sale.

When I was at the Continental open house yesterday I snagged an entry form for the car show. It costs $20.00 to enter. If anybody needs one e-mail me your fax # and I'll zip it over.
