I've been to a couple of club meetings, and this place is going to be great! Now is the time to sign up, because they plan on increaseing membership rates when it opens. |

Last time I spoke with Mark, they were two or three founding members away from their goal of I think 40. Sounds like it's happening soon, maybe now. He's got bunches of regular members and corporate, too. Anyone talk to Weinberger about Autobahn at the model expo? |

I'll get interested once they start digging. Cool idea, but they come a dozen a dime. |

i'm really suprised that nobody else here cares about this, i think it sounds like a cool idea, i'll past final judgement when they break ground though. |

Their web site never changes, though there is a bit of information: www.autobahncountryclub.net There's a number there you should call for more info. IMO, sounds like a great idea, much nicer and closer than Blackhawk. Same designer as Gingerman. |

This is a track, actually two tracks that can be joined together to about 3.5 miles, proposed to be built in an industrial area of Joliet. Near Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 drag strip. According to the web site and conversations with guys signed up, they sell two different member packages which gives you track time and other privilages. They plan garages to work on your car and a golf country club type member facilities. They have corporate memberships and that's where Continental is involved. They can take prospects for test drives and track days. I don't remember the costs, something like $1000 to reserve membership and then $3000 per year. |
