Approx 240 miles from downtown Chicago.
One of my favorite tracks... just as safe and challenging as Gingerman, but with a longer straight allowing for higher speeds in "a few places". Cool twisty linked turns, elevation changes, off-camber turns, etc. |

Almost forgot, visited the track a couple years ago. Its a great track and the owners are true car people. Very nice! |

I think it is an us and them deal. It is part of FCA Indy's F1 appreciation month. They'll also have a go kart event with Rubens (?) and of course all the hoopla around the GP.
BTW: I just reserved my hotel in Indy for the weekend (Sep 26-28).
On June 15 they'll have another 'drive your F car on the F1 track event'. Still undecided whether I want to do that one too. |

This reminds me of college. "Thetas called and said they'd looooove to have a dinner exchange with us!" Anyway, did he say if anyone was interested in car swapping, or is this an "us and them" type deal? |
