Mike, it was a good old track I only was there 3 or 4 times. Only drove on it once in a go-kart running the south short course, must have been great running the complete track in a car, was the wall still intact when you raced there? You are up this way a few times a year, let's go up there

Damn......I wish I lived closer to you guys. I raced many times at Meadowdale and it would be neat to see it today.
Also have some fond memories of camping out at the track before I was old enough to race.

Many Ferraris raced at Meadowdale as part of it's history, I will get with the park district this fall and try to arrange it

Andreas - the Monaco Momento ROCKS!!!! Our anniversary is June 1, and we have always known we would eventually get to the Monaco grand prix for an anniversary. Since I teach school, that is one of the busiest weeks of the year as we close out all the records and get the text inventory re-arranged for next year's kids, so no Monaco yet (as we celebrate #29 next week). But we WILL get there eventually. You have an AMAZING memory... Thanks so much! sheryl

Gang, I'll post some pics on Tuesday from work. Thanks Dan, Adam and Bob for showing up and sticking around until I got my bearings on the place right. Have to get a GPS for my Ferrari. Thinking about the Garmin palm pilot clone.

Dan, sorry bout your wife, her flag would at least be official F merchandise. Mine came right off the street vendors in Siena. Next time I'll bring you a Santa Maria statue instead...

Adam, many thanks for providing the photography vehicle. Those shots turned out nice.

Bob, love your idea of 'Ferraris returning to Meadowdale' (did they ever race there before?). Let's make it happen for 2004!

Was great to meet up with you guys - even if I only was able to provide the tow vehicle! Thanks again for the gifts Andreas!

It was great to finally meet some of the F-chat members. It was picture-perfect day for a drive. Andreas, even though my wife has not met you, she already hates you because she just ordered a Ferrari flag as a gift for me and now she will have to cancel the order. Thanks again. And thanks to Bob for the planning efforts. I look forward to meeting even more members in the near future.

Hey guys. Sorry I missed what must have been a great drive. My 10 minute trip to Home Depot turned into 2 hours! On a good note, I performed a much-needed spring cleaning on the car, so it's looking nice. Ready for the next outing.

Hey boys, what is your final schedule? Andreas, when are you heading out? I'm just trying to juggle my schedule a bit. I might drive out but have to cut it short.

Dan, I notice there is no pic of your 348 in your profile. I bet we can fix that tomorrow. Similar comment goes to Bob. Will bring my camera gear.

Weather forecast is sunny with some clouds, high of 67. In other words: PERFECT for cars with lousy A/C!
:-)
So let's make this one count. To repeat my sales pitch: Everybody showing up will get a Ferrari souvenir from my recent trip to Italy. Promise.

The good news is that I'll be off on Saturday now due to a holiday pick that I forgot about. The bad news is that due to a lack of competency at the body shop my car won't be out until next Wednesday. Just a word to the wise, never go to Northshore Auto Body in Highland Park. I took my car back to Inter-Pro, whom does work for LFSC from time to time. I had a tour of their shop and saw a couple of works in progress. This is the place I took my grill to be bent back straight. I think they do really good work and know their stuff in both body and paint. My car will be at Oak Street, hopefully, so you guys can check it out.

I'd love to meet up at Meadowdale and go for a walk there. Maybe thereafter we can drive some place together and have some drinks?

So Saturday the 24th would be fine with me. Bob, happy to skip the Naperville Concours.

Let's try this one more time, the weather looks OK for this weekend. Should we go with the same plans we had for the 10th, or what does everybody want to do
