What I have heard so far is that Luxury Motors in Downers Grove which sold only used cars and had no new car franchise got the Bentley franchise from Continental a few years back. They got ONLY Bentley, not Ferrari. I just happen to run into Joe Abbas, the owner of Luxury Motors, recently he was telling me about his new Bentley showroom in downtown. He did not mention any other franchises at the downtown location, but I am sure he will be selling just about every high-end line used vehicle out there.

I noticed this on the way to the Oak St. show last Sunday. I assume that this is the old Continental Bentley franchise. Is this is an authorized Ferrari dealership and who is the owner?

...well sortof: The Bentley dealer just opened a brand new showroom on Rush and Pearson. It has besides the Bentleys also Lambos and Ferraris.

The real kicker is the showroom itself: It looks like taken straight from a Puccini opera. Drapes, columns, oil paintings, frescos, you name it. You might call it kitsch (and you might be right), but I loved it. Looks really, really neat and different.

So next time you're in town, stroll by, you won't be disappointed. Really, I have never seen a showroom like this anywhere in the world. The Ferraris are nice of course, but nothing you haven't seen at other dealers as well.
