Tod- I'd like to suggest my Tech's shop. You can have Tire Rack ship the tires directly to them. Their prices for mounting and balancing are the best around, and they know the cars. They work on my Ferraris, RR MB etc. They're in Palatine. Contact me direct for further info. |

The wheels are the original brushed aluminum rims from Ferrari. All four of my center caps are cracked, i have four new ones on order to be replaced when i get the tires done. Thanks for the info on tirerack, i found some Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires i may get for my 328 from there. Michael, are you at the store in the evenings?? Maybe i'll swing by on my way home one of these days.... Thanks again... |

Tod, tirerack is a great place to get tires; they are close by (Indiana) and can ship tires in a day or two. We would have no problem with those wheels. Its only wheels over 22" that our new machine can't handle. The owners of tirerack have bought a few cars from us, so our service dept might be able to get you a good deal on tires. By the way, does your car have chrome wheels? |

Thanks everyone for all your comments... Michael, I stopped by you guys a couple months ago, you had a yellow 1989 328 in your showroom, talked with Brian there about it, was more set on getting a black one. I'm only a few blocks up the street from you. Do you guys have the means to re-mount and balance tires there??? I was looking at tires on tirerack.com, but will need a place to mount them. I'm also concerned about the rims getting damaged to these tire places de-beading the old tire. My Old Grand Prix had aluminum rims and they had damage from tire places over the years... |

Tod, congrats on the 328. We are located just down the street from you at 27W333 North Ave, West Chicago. We can easily lift a 328 for tires. Stop by if you want; we have a nice assortment of F-cars in the showroom including an F40, 550 Barchetta, 360 Spiders, and the usual Ferraris. Take care and good luck with your new toy. Congrats Tod and welcome to the board! I'm in a similar situation, needing tires by the end of the year. I'm planning on getting them from an internet place like tire rack. Actually I was planning on taking my car to Just Tires. Never thought that would be a big deal. If it is, well I'll just take the car and tires to my regular F shop in town. Maybe Jack can comment since he has a 328 too. |

Welcome to the board Tod, I see you are from Carol Stream I am in Aurora. For the tires most of the Discount Tire stores in the area are good with just about any car, if you are concered with them raising it up wrong take the wheels off at home and just run them to the tire shop. |

Hi All, I'm new at this Ferrari thing, just bought a 328 last month and have been looking at getting new tires for it. I'm just real leary about going to these tire places like 'Just Tires' to have them do the work, especially knowning that my 328 requires a special low lift to raise it up. I would like to get some good Goodyear tires all around, but would also like to take it to someplace that can handle Ferraris.. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.... Tod
