Love that night shot of the "Daytona" with Phil Collins signing. Took me quite a while to get my hands on one of the newer episodes with the white TR. Finally got one, but not ideal. I remember there was once a show where they were racing the TR through town in a big chase, but never found that episode on tape. |

Watching Miami Vice this morning. The opening shot was of the McBurnie, then faded back. Also, had a red Maserati,I think it's a Quatroporte-4 door. Wouldn't be a bad car if you need a 4 seater for family. But,I'd probably get a Mondial Cab.,or a 400/412. |

Andreas, I'm a little curious--do you have the Cagney Movie "Never Steal Anything Small"? It's what got me started way back in 1958. Cagney sings a duet "I'm Sorry, I Want a Ferrari!" Really a racey movie for a 10-yearold in 1958. LOL |

sure Not to be bragging too much, but there is rarely a flick I missed. To give you an idea, here is the list of films I couldn't find anywhere: Johnny Dark, 54 Devil's hairpin, 57 Fangio - Una vita a'll ora 300. Icattivi Colpi, 61 Green Helmet, 61 Young Racers, 63 Hawk of Ferrari, 60 Maniacs on wheels, 67 Carnapping, 80 Generation Oxygene, 91 Goodbye Charly Speedzone, 89 Glan House Holiday in St. Moritz Obviously if anybody has access to any of these listed, let me know please. |

Andreas. Did you get the Red 348spider in the movie,"Showgirls?" Although it was just a quick scene. |

I actually have every episode of Magnum P.I. on VHS.A couple years ago,I tore up my right knee really bad,and was recuperating for over a year-Physical Therapy,3 surgeries,etc... So,since I had alot of time on my hands, taped all of the shows. But,because there were so many,I had to tape in super slow mode,to get 8-1 hour episodes per tape, and there are about 20 or more tapes. So,the quality is clear, but a little bit grainy.Yes,I've seen Ferrari's in movies ever since I was a kid.I especially like the 1960's movies with the older cars in them. But,lately,it seems like there's been a "surge" in Ferrari's in flicks. And,thats good! |

The fascination with Ferraris goes way back. As some of you might know, I'm collecting movies with Ferraris in them. The collection is rather big by now. Didn't include TV shows though, too hard to find a copy after the show aired (except for Magnum and Miami Vice). |

Did any of you guys catch that new show on NBC 5 last night? I believe it was just called,"Las Vegas". And ,I got in after it was about halfway through. But,what I did gather from the plot, last nights show, anyway, was a guy selling stolen Ferrari's out of a dealership. The undercover cop was buying a Red/Tan 355spider from the guy. Had a great chase scene, where they were chasing the 355 with a hotrod '69 Z28. And,prior, showed the Ferrari dealer with a bevy of Ferrari's all out on the lot-about a dozen or so. There seems to be a real fascination with everything Ferrari, more so,lately. Practically every action type TV show or movie has Ferrari's in them Well, gotta go. Crockett and Tubbs are on now,(Spike TV-9:00AM)And,they just started out from the top, last Wednesday. So,they're still in the MacBurnie Daytona.(which is still a pretty cool car-I'd get one if I saw a nice one for sale, just for grins.) After all,I am both a Ferrari lover and Corvette enthusiast, and own both. Why not a car thats "Both!" |
