Tim, I know a few people from the AZ club are going. You should email Terry and ask exactly who. I am sure he knows. I was planning on a caravan from Phoenix, but my car will be in San Diego for the summer and I will come up from there now. I will plan on seeing you at your coach on Saturday at the track.

You can buy a ticket for just the concours at the show. The street in front of the Century Plaza will be blocked off. I believe they are expecting somewhere around 450 cars.

See you there

Does anyone know if the Concours will be open to the public or spectators, or do you have to be registered for the meet?

I think you have way too much free time on your hand (kidding :-)). I am really jealous I can't make it out to LA for this event. Maybe you guys can come to my neck of the woods (the east coast) sometime.

We'll be doing the rally on Friday also. Should be a great time.

It's too bad that FerrariChat members don't have a secret handshake or something. How are we going to know each other? Maybe we could get some red Fezs' that have a big FC on them. What'ya think????

So, it looks as though we are going to meet Saturday at the track. Who else is going to be at FCA-LA from FerrariChat???

Our Kansas City group is Chris and Dana Parr, with their F40 & 246GT, me in the 275, John & Dawn Karr, and Reese McClain from Autosport Gallery.

We will all be at the Century Plaza on Wed. Any FC members are welcome to meet us in the hotel bar at 5pm. I'll be the one in a 275 jacket (big surprise) with a martini. Chris will have the diet coke (he's smarter than me).

I was not planning to go originally but i think i may be in LA on business at around that time, so i will try and find you guys and gals if i am there. I am not planning on shipping my car out though, and while i have long threatened to make a cross country drive in a ferrari, i am reluctant to do so without a roof.

LOL......(mental note: bring brown pants)

I remember taking my helmet to Montreal - having people think I was carrying a bowling ball. I do have a picture of me in the cockpit of the Air Canada jet (Air Can sponsors the F1 race here) wearing the helmet with the thumbs up sign.

(sigh)......oh the memories

Nika, bring some Racerchick stuff for Dana, and bring a helmet, you can't go out in a F40 or a 360 Challenge car without it! Chris

I will be parked with Chris in my coach. I have a BBQ on the coach and we can cook on it and have a FerrariChat BBQ. I will be tracking at the school on Friday and running on Sat & Sun. hope to be able to bring the F40 if my trailer is done (sorry - "new Trailer" - hope thats not bragging) but at least I will be bringing the 360C - if they let us take passengers on the track I would be more than happy, make that thrilled, to take anyone around the course with me.

anyone know if we can give rides at the track?

if we can get an idea how many people will be there sat. from FerrariChat I will buy burgers and pop for everyone.

Nika,

You can find details at the FCA website. www.ferrariclubofamerica.org

Chris & Dana Parr, and I are flying in on Wed. afternoon, May 22. We are all staying at the Century Plaza Hotel, which is the host hotel and also where the concours will be held on Thursday.

Friday is either track day at California Speedway or a Rally, but Friday night is a dinner at the Petersen Museum that should be fantastic. I've seen video from the 50th anniversary event in 1997, and the museum looks great.

Sat. will be a track day. I am still debating about taking the 275 out, but I'm sure Chris will be turning laps in the F-40. Should be fun to watch.

Hope to see you there, and also look forward to meeting other FC members.

By the way...

When John Karr and I were flying back from NY last weekend we were trying to come up with a custom license plate for the Ferrari trailer. He didn't like my suggestion, but I thought it was great. Maybe you want to use it on yours.

saturday at the track sounds great. Did you get your email concerning the track event. Sounds like the only requirement for the old men's class will be a helmet, no driving suit or gloves. Of course, you probably want to go faster than 80.

Chris, I didn't realize you were into swapping??? Is there something you haven't told me?

OK, It's only one month away. Anyone have any plans for a FerrariChat get together at FCA-LA?

I'm shipping the 275GTB out, and I know Chris Parr is sending his F40, and his wife Dana is bringing her 246GT. Anyone else? Anyone????
