Kuzi, are you serious? No more pics? That's terrible. I guess that means that I don't have to check the bikini thread anymore. I know that for a lot of guys it's breasts or legs or bums or something but for me it's belly buttons and and oblique abdominals. That's what a makes a girl sexy to me. Oh well, thanks for the original pics, though.

Martin,

We've never run together but I suspect you are faster than you think. It's usually the guys who spend time telling everyone how fast they are and how many cars they passed that are slow!

I also recall that most of the cars you drive at the track (except your Challenge car) have to be driven home that day. Makes a huge difference.

Maybe some day you can come up to the Glen.

Regards,

Jon

I know what you mean. A friend of mine did the same. Sold his 355Ch and since then has had several regular NASCARS. He gets them with the sponsorship decalls which is unusual since they usually sell them stripped but he has a way and has to sign some legal waivers and stuff.

In essence though that is also what he said, you spend a few bucks on the car and the engine is only $10K (producng 700HP) and he blasts by me like I am standing. Okay okay I know what you are saying a Yugo would do that to me (I guess I never have a chance with Dinah and Bonnie :-)).

Martin,

Well maybe just a little frustration !! Actually I am consdering buying one in a year or so when I sell the Challenge car.

At the Glen most of those truck drivers are hard to catch. Those things weigh 2600 pounds and they all have ZZ4 Chevy crate motors making between 390 on the low side (stock motor) and 535 hp (one guy has spent more on the motor than the truck).

At Summit Point I just out brake em by 200 feet but at the Glen they long straights make it hard to keep up. Matt is the only one that gives em trouble there.

Those guys always joke about what it costs to buy one and I have to say they are right. For 15K you can pick one of these up with a decent motor. Bang it up and an entire unpainted body is 2K. Crate motor is $3600 and a new transmission is 2K.

Geeeez....we can't even get through a track/race weekend for that kind of money.

Will be tangling with the truckers next week at the Glen.

Regards,

Jon

Dinah,

Nice profile picture. I see Bubba's truck lurking in back of you. See your catching on very fast about keeping those darn NASCAR guys behind you.

Just remember one word: Block, Block, Block.....and remember they have brake rotors you can buy at Pep boys.

See you next week at the Glen!

Come on - let's see the pics. Where I am from, you can marry your cousin - just not your sister.

You can "do" your sister - you just can't marry her.

:-)

Bonnie - nice to see ya back - freewill is a good thing.

Dave (Maranelloman)...sorry for the late reply, I just returned from WGI (with the 355) where I was feeling her out some more. Damn! I want one of those cars! Oh wait.....I have one now :-)

There is nothing sexier than driving that at speed. I have a ways to go with her (get your minds out of the gutter....it's still a "she" even if a woman owns her) but when the flaggers tip their hats to you you know you're doing something right. I have a nice on-track picture that I'll post in my profile later.

This particular 355C is, and will remain, a track-only car. Cannot be used on the street for various legal and registration issues.

To Bonnie: You're dead-on about liking the car for the car, not the guy. In fact, a guy in a car like that loses my vote very quickly if he doesn't know how to drive it..

Oh, and you guys can say whatever you want about the eventual pics but IMO it's all downhill after seeing Kuzi's rock climbing "friend" in the bikini thread. Kuzi, I think that I need some more pics.

Okay, we (and by we I mean Martin) really need to see pics here to make up our minds about this. Besides, who here's going to tell her? Right? Right?

One evening the Countessa and I were dining the Columbe d'Or. After dinner we got it to her F40 and headed back to Cannes. After a while the car filled up with a strange but familiar smell. She pulled over, walked around the car and found a pair of panties stuffed in the freash air inlet.
Wrapped inside was a room key. She handed them over to me.
"Perhaps these are for you?"
"Non" I answered.
She looked around and noticed a truck delivering fish to a local market. She tossed the panties and the room key onto the front seat.
I remember her driving back a little faster than usual.
