I picked up my first copy of Cavallino at B&N this evening. (PS - Thanks for the heads up! -- They had one copy on the shelf!!) Interesting periodical when compared to Forza. Black and white photos, etc. Different feel altogether. Not what I expected. I'm a fan of the newer F-cars as opposed to the classics so I probably won't be picking up a subscription or springing for the seven bucks a copy but it's still a nice magazine. |

I kept requesting to B&N to sell Cavallino since February. I haven't seen Forza there for 1 month now. DId they replace Forza with Cavallino?

Yeah, I don't know if I'd subscribe to either. I have a subscription to Forza, but I'd probably pick up Cavallino and Rooso every once in a while if I saw them on the shelf. I also go to Barnes and Noble about 3-5 times a week. |

Save yourself the trouble and just subscribe to Cavallino. Mine go back to #11. Rosso Ferrari is published by FNA thru the same publisher as Road and Track. To start your subscription send your valid Owner info to FNA with a nice letter. My subscription just started by sending them a copy of my Warranty Transfer card, from a 1977 308GTB! Warranty was confirmed as "Expired"!!! |

From a Toronto point-of-view: Cavallino's a tough one to get up here in the great white north.. (hmmm would white still be white during a black out? hmmmmm) MiniGrid in Unionville used to carry it regularly but for last 2 years its been very sporadic... seems Autophile on Eglinton is the only reliable place these days... short of getting a subscription.. Forza can be bought at the nearest grocery store. Kinda says something... doesnt it? As for Rossa... NEVER seen it up here... used to pick it up at B&N when i was south for the Cavallino Classic. Recently i found this: http://shop.roadandtrack.com/subcat.asp?0=227 and filled in a few... pretty good price too... (: until customs nailed me... ): GT |

Funny, I was going to start a thread on this... I had never even seen the magazine before, and when I was in B&N today, sure enough, I saw it on the stands. I picked one up and have been reading through it tonite. Great magazine. I don't know how long it will stay though. A few years back, I picked up a copy of "Rosso Ferrari" magazine there. It was the first and only time I ever saw that one. |

I used to buy Cavallino and Rosso at B&N a few years ago. I'm surprised to see Cav back, but don't expect to see it stay long |

Has hell frozen over, or has vintage Ferrari history gone mainstream? |
