Kevin, All my friends are into home theater and multichannel sound. They make fun of me since I still listen to 2 channel. I love the sound of tubes and vinyl. I am currently in the process of buying a new business. Once I get settled in I want to buy a turntable. I'll look you up when I'm ready. P.S. Thanks for keeping tubes alive. |

I like the Pinnacle line of products and their leather conditioner is my favorite. I have never tried leatherique and will have to give it a try. Bill |

Use to use it on my 911 until I discovered Leatherique. No comparison at all. Maybe it only works on British cars. |

Kevin, go to the website for leathertique and read the info. It explains their product versus the others. I prefers theirs. They mention other products that are petroleum based. Alot of the products out there are junk. Their product is notr cheap but it goes a long way. $40 for a quart of the oil. |

I had used Conolly Hide Food, my experience is the same as yours. Went to Leatherique's Revjuv Oil and Prestine Clean, and love it.

well of course connolly isno more in the UK now but I have just had a few small jobs done by an ex connolly employee and here is what he said about the hide food they market. The formulation came about many years ago when solvent based lacquers were used to finish the leather. However with the change to waterbased ones it was selling so well they never changed the formulation and it is whte spirit based. Its prolonged use will destroy the top finish on your leather . I now use no product that contains petroleum distillates so zymol is good or anything else like it! |

i have used the CHF in my 550 extensively. my inteiror has crema highlights and seat inserts which require regular cleaning and CHF has wokred wonderfully. i also use it to help out with the bolster wear, and it's great for that imo. i use leatherique's stuff on my 355, but only just started that, so haven't gotten it into the 550 yet. fwiw, i don't think it's "craaaaap". doody. |

I can't help but think the worst about this stuff. Just what are "white spirits"? It smells like petroleum to me. And does not look agood as it is used. Lexol seems so gentle. And nice finish. I just bought the PH balanced Armorall Leather Care...which is supposed to have UV protection. I will try it on the Porsche first. UV treatment would be so nice in convertables and sunny climate. Anyone try it? |
