The transaxle is a Hewland FT200.
The car?? Probably a special.

I think it is a 512 M or 512 S, you can see one on this site :http://www.barchetta.cc/english/All.Ferraris/Detail/1018.512M.htm

Bob, if you have more pictures from the Boxer I would like to have them, bert308 at tiscali.nl. When I saw the car 5 years ago at Amsterdam RAI classic car show, I noticed that one side rear wheel was sticking out of the fender much more than the other side, did you happen to notice this too?
Great engine pic in the showroom section!

Bert308, Look at the picture in the showroom/engine picture topic. I posted a pic there from that 365. I love that engine. Thanks for the help till now. But there is nobody who knows something about more cars like this? Or who built this? or anything?

I agree with James. Looks like a home-made sport racer with Ferrari logos. There was a Formula Ford team in Montreal this year that ran two brand new chassis', both painted in Ferrari branding.

Dr. Bob, please check your homepage url, I think there is something awfully wrong there.

Don't know about the car but I see they still have the 365 Boxer for sale, must be for more than 5 years now. One day, when I have the money and it's still there, I'll buy it for sure.

Engine is definitely Dino V-6.

Tranny is definitely (and would be appropriate for this kind-of car) Hewland (easily mistaken for a Porsche, since they're similar to VW and Hewland Mk9 'boxes are VW Bug 'boxes turned upside down!).

Think the engine looks like a dino unit, the gearbox/transaxle is Porsche

I made these pictures at Munsterhuis, The Netherlands. The mechanic that walked in the garage said it was built on a italian chassis, with a Ferrari-engine. The name hoffman (correct spelling?) was on a paper in the car, i don't know why. The mechanic was just leaving because it was the end of the day, so he didn't want to help me further with any info. Maybe somebody here can help me. Take a look :p
