HIya,

Funnily enough, Spyder, I have been contemplating this same solution. May end up FedExing 1 suitcase to te destination...

Thanks for everyone's replies!

Regards,

I do not know if this is feasible in your case, but I have shipped luggage to my destination and had it waiting on me when I got there.

It is actually not bad. I have travelled with the car before and you can fit some stuff in there. Also if you are shorter you can fit some things behind the seat.

It is the same space as the Bs or even the 348s have the same compartment.

Can't find a picture now sorry.

Duckt Tape and strap them to the rear deck lid :-)

...by the way, if any 355 Spider owner feels like being REALLY generous, and taking and posting a photo of the luggage space for me, I''d really, really appreciate it!!

Hi Willis,

This is a bit of a sore point, as I really wanted to rent the 360 Spider, but it was not available to rent (nor any other 360 for that matter) by the time I made my booking...

Oh well....

Regards,

James W

Try a 360 spider if the 355 spider storage space is not to your liking.

Do you get any spare tyre stored in the boot of the 355?

Thanks for the responses, guys - I guess Gemma may be having to pack light after all... ;-)

Ironically, in my Lotus Esprit, the solution I found worked best on long trips was to put everything in about 10 small plastic carrier bags.

This works well for fitting things in every nook and cranny, but doesn't exactly look classy when the porter comes to unpack your luggage at luxury hotels...!! ;-))

Thanks again,

James W

With any Ferrari, soft sided duffle bags are best, as they give you some "squish" factor to stuff them in there....

Front: large enough for 2 "carry on" sized bags (approx. 24" bags).

Rear: you are kidding right?

3 medium duffle bags in front; nothing in back; and the bags cannot be fully stuffed.

Hi all,

I'm getting married in 3 weeks time, and am taking advantage of the rental cars offered by EuropeanFerrariRental.com, and renting their 355 Spider for 4 days, driving from Switzerland into Northern Italy, staying near Lake Como.

However, I've never examined the storage space on a 355 spider, and, knowing that my fiancee is, er, how can I put it, 'not the world's most compact packer', I'm a little worried that we're going to have room to fit our bags in.

Can anyone with a 355 Spider give me a rough guide to how much space is available front and back?

Regards,

James W
