the "Standard Catalog of Ferrari 1947-2003" has production data for most of the models Ferrari has produced including # produced in a year and in some cases # sold in the US.
The ISBN # for the book is 0-87349-497-0 and was authored by Mike Covello I picked mine up at Borders but have also seen it at B&N and on Wal Mart dot com.

The models post does not have that figure which came from the Ferrari factory.

Has a list of some of the production numbers, but you'll see arguments left and right when you start getting into the details and squabling over individual cars that were rebodies, etc. by the factory and which car they actually should count as.
There are a number of different places with only minor conflicts in the #s. |

I could probably find a book,or website with this information,but theres alot of knowledgable Ferrari guys on this site. So,I would like to know how many Ferraris have been built? -not counting racing cars.- Year and model. I cant imagine that there were all too many of any one car,especially,if they were "hand built". And keep reading about the "mass produced" Dino V-8s.(308GT/4,308GTB/GTS,328GTB/GTS) In my book, "mass produced" is over 100,000 copies. Your "Big 3,Porsche,Mercedes,Asian makers,etc...)THANKS!!! |
