Frank,

I talked to my brother about Alice Cooper. He told me that back in the early 70's he used to party with Alice on a boat in Michigan. He said that he was a very nice person.

Hey,lets get this thread going again, until we actually hear from Alice! (and I know something that only Alice and I would know, that we talked about,to know that its really him) Ha! ha! Seriously...Alice,we know that your'e a busy guy,out touring, and stuff. But,if you get a chance... Also,How about Tom Hamilton and Brad Whitford from AEROSMITH! I KNOW that they are BIG TIME into CARS! I saw them at a Corvette show,a few years back, and couldnt believe that they were walking around the show...completely unnoticed,(until I did). Got an autograph from both, but,am still kickin myself in the ass for not having a camera! Anyway, these guys ALWAYS have some cool cars, and I'm sure a Ferrari or two!!

Oh yeah, I read about that in this forum. The blackout happened just as that was starting I seem to remember. I didn't hear if they still did it or not.

I had moved away long before that started. This is the first year I had heard about it.

The "Dream cruise" is on Woodward Av. They get up to 1 million people attending. I think it to place a couple of weeks ago.

I think I remember the Trading Post but not the Dream Cruise (unless it was the boat to Bob-Lo). That was a long time ago.

What was it?

Great link Markpdx. That is the album I was talking about. I especially like Detroit City. I grew up there as, of course, did Alice.

It's got a great chorus "8 Mile, 9 Mile, 10 Mile, 11 Mile, Detroit City".

Frank, you'll love it.

I saw Alice out here on his Brutal Planet tour a couple of years ago it was a fantastic show. I loved the guillotine and the Britny spears headless thing. Alice Rocks Hard.

I have actually driven 2 F-cars. I know on this chat-line that's nothing, In the real world that's more than 99.9% of the world population.

P.S. I wonder what percentage of the world's population knows who Mr. cooper is.

No,but Alice wore a T-shirt that said on the front: "Britney WANTS me!" And on the back of the shirt,it said: "DEAD!" If youve never seen him,YOU GOTS TO,AT least once in your life, you wont regret it. There are some things that you gotta do before you die,and owning a Ferrari,or at least, driving one,is one.And seeing THE LEGENDARY-ALICE COOPER! LIVE in concert,is another.(add,"Eating at Cooperstown" to that, too)

Wow! A thread about Alice Cooper on FerrariChat! My daughter realised about 6 months ago that she was named after a man! Anyway Alice and I were listening to Welcome to my Nightmare this afternoon. She is 6 years old!
I have seen Alice Cooper live 8 times and I have every one of his songs. Alice is the man!

We saw Alice last October here at the House of Blues,in Chicago. He was touring, promoting his last CD,"Dragontown". I STRONGLY reccommend it,and, also STRONGLY (Im a strong guy) seeing Alice ANY and EVERY chance you get!. He is the consumate "performer". THE First time I saw him,was during his "Welcome to my Nightmare" tour in the 1970s, Second album I ever got was "Killer" (first album was Zepplin 4) but after I bought Killer.I IMMEDIATELY went out an got "Easy Action",and "Pretties for you",his first two(that I know of) Then ofcourse,"Billion Dollar Babies","Schools Out","Muscle of Love" ETC... You GOTTA SEE this man perform! YOU will NOT regret it!! Anyway,I picture Alice in a Black ENZO, with Black leather interior(what else?)

I met Vincent years back when I worked as a DJ at a California radio station...
He's a very nice guy, and as Frank said, many benefit from his charity work.
And yes, I still enjoy his music. :-)

I will have to dig thru my collection of LP albums once i get out to NM next weekend. I think i still have Alice Cooper's "Muscle of Love" album with its cardboard box that covered up the album sleeve. Gee i wonder what i could get for that from a collector?????

Alice is a class act here in the Valley of the sun.

Lest we not forget his great album: "Hey Stoopid!",from a few years back. What kind of a rock is someone living under if they dont know who Alice Cooper is! My God,man! Alice Cooper is the PIONEER of "shock-rock",the guy who KISS ,Marilyn Manson,etc...followed as an EXAMPLE! Been a rock LEGEND for OVER 30 YEARS!!!!And has just about as many Albums!! "schools out!" "no more Mr.Niceguy!"-just a couple of his top 40 songs, from the years. He Has influenced most of any Hard Rock, and Punk artists since 1970. You must be either too old,or,too young!! Anyway,I thought that Alice had a black Testarossa-? Alice,if you are out there! join in some time! We know that you are a "car guy", among a restaraunteur, avid golfer, and helps out alot of charities in PHX. A really great guy. And was really cool to THIS fan! Not to mention a Hard Rock LEGEND!!! And, A FERRARI LOVER!!-just like the rest of us!!!!

I have to agree with Frank about the food at CoopersTown being excellent. I have been there a few times but have yet to see Alice there.

I do recall seeing his mustang at B-J this year the only Testarossa's up for auction was the white 512TR and Don Johnson.

Yeah," Alices Retaraunt" has some GREAT FOOD there, too! When we met him last year, and chatted alittle bit,(I am a big guy-6"2"-280#) Hurt my back,so I cant work out at the gym,and gained a few pounds. Anyway,Alice was sitting at a table next to ours ,and saw that I had ordered one of his "BBQ Sampler plates" that has a little bit of everything (BBQ) And Alice mentioned "A couple more meals like that and you wont be able to fit in that Ferrari!" True! So,Ive been watching the food. But,still fit into my Ferrari like a fine Italian Leather Glove!

Met Alice last summer at his restaraunt,Cooperstown,in Phoenix,AZ.About a block from Bank One Ballpark. As we were talking about music, the subject changed to cars, when he noticed my Ferrari T-shirt. He asked me if I had a Ferrari. I told him that I had a 308,and he told me that he had a Testarossa. And,that he just picked up a Shelby Mustang, which I saw sold at Barrett-Jackson,this past winter.

I know Alice. He had a red/tan car for sale earlier this year that was listed on eBay by a dealer in Scottsdale. It was an early model, I think an '85. It was offered with a tour jacket signed by Alice.

It did sell. I don't know who bought it or where it is now but that could be it.

I remember seeing his TR going across the Barrett-Jackson Auction out there last year. It was represented as a very nice, well kept car with less than 20k miles I think. I think it sold for close to $100k.

I have seen a testarossa advertized in the paper for sale, stating that he had owned it. Does anyone know which model Ferrari's he has owned or currently owned? Danke.
