We have had them on sale since around June this year although we only sell the pedal version, not the electrical version as it is too much hassle with the battery charges for the different countries. My Japanese is starting to suck but I think it says: "Nihon hatsunyuuka! Gentei ichidai dendou kaa" The words mean: "Japan, first arrival (as in goods), limit(ed), one car, electric car." Now assemble those into some sort of sentence, ha! My guess would be something like "the only electric car like (this) has arrived in Japan". Or maybe it's "only one of these electric cars has arrived in Japan (and this is it) and maybe this will be the only one for all we know." And maybe it's some kind of a joke.
