Ken, no offense taken. I'm not talented in any fibre work (I can fix a hole, that's about it). What I meant is, that I know of enough body shops around that could fix this car up for not too much money. If there is more to the story as Martin suggested, it might be different. Besides we don't know about the reserve, do we? Of course it is not a Ferrari, but when restored a nice replica to have fun with on a track. I mean, let's be realistic: Who would drive the real thing just for fun? That's why I think a car like this is not really an imposter, everybody knows that it isn't real. It's more like a Hommage to Ferrari and I think that is cool. Glad it has at least an Alfa engine. |

"Fibreglass work isn't that difficult." *spit take* You've never owned a Europa! This car will be similar to my Lotus: compound curves and too thin. If you've ever worked on a Vette and think it's easy, you ain't seen NOTHING yet!!! This is a job for a pro or very skilled amature; not for a casual bondo guy. (BTW, Andreas, if you are a talented 'glass guy, my apologies). |

hm, I wonder....there must be more than just fibre work. Looks like suspension and some other stuff. Also the car looks like it has been sitting outside for a while.

Wow, that thing looks tempting. Fibreglass work isn't that difficult. Hmmm. |

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6212&item=2429139696 Looks like Alfetta drivetrain in a pretty replica fiberglass Ferrari body that somebody tagged the rear.

Did anyone see the Mondial rep on ebay? Powered by an Alfa engine and crushed rear end. |
