My 1982 BBi parts manual shows only one part number for front, and one for the rear.

Are you sure about the raised letters? Could they have been off of an 85 TR......which also had the center spline?

I have been told that my car is original.

Don't really know anything specific about this myself other than sometimes F employed multiple manufacturers for the "same" wheels, or wheels were superceded, so that could explain such small differences (I noted on the FerrariUK website that there's an old and new PN for each Boxer wheel) -- just a thought...(if you're lucky the PN might be shown in cast letters on the back of the spokes so if you get a chance to see the backside you could compare)

Henryk,
That's exactly what i've seen, however, I just looked at a 83 512bb but it had raised unpainted star/boxer wheels. Could they have had both?

Ed: The 83 Boxer has black painted, unraised, lettering. The TR has raised, unpainted, lettering.

The following are of an 83 BBi, front and rear, respectively:Upload
