Well, after 7 months of paperwork problems with the former owners, then a VIN error on the title, among other issues, my 1984 QV is finally home from her major and on the road. I took her for a first ride this past weekend which was the finest weather in NJ so far. It was something else. Special thanks to F-Chatter Adam Goldman for recommending Brian at Independent Motoworks who did a great job and had the patience of a saint as I toiled with the paperwork for months. Unable to take it for road tests, the car languished in his shop and he never complained. Thanks to all the rest of you F-Chatters who posted such great info as I lurked here for months learning all I can as my ownership experience neared. Hopefully, with a few Ferrari miles under my belt I hope to contribute more often as well. Oleh   |
