Art,
The 360 is gone but not forgotten. However the 575 is quite a machine.
Next Feb I'll pick you up with the 575 and let's try to get Callahan to pay. What a challenge!

where is that restaurant? is that in Malibu? Is that road that goes up to hollywood right in front of it with a stoplight?

I think I ate there alone on biz. called my wife to tell her about the waves lapping at the shore some 20 feet away.

Dan,
The Canadian 540i M-Sport package includes the M5 body kit and M badging on the door sills and a neat metal dead pedal. They started offering this since 2001. This package has only been offered as of 2003 in the States; they provide the same style wheel one size larger; 18", mine are 17". What's a "splitter"?

Speaking of garage ideas, Marty, how about the time you paid your nice neighbor kid to stack firewood in your garage, instead of the folks who deliver and stack firewood all of the time?

A lot of people here have got really nice garages with some really good ideas that I wouldn't mind using at some stage. Maybe a garage thread with everyones ideas, what works and what doesn't.

that looks like the m5 rear bumper, and the front bumper as well (but the m5 doesn't have the splitters) - was this a factory thing or did you do that?

Markpdx=I drive the 575 a great deal -put on 3800 mi in 3 1/2 mo.Had it at PIR a mo ago.Where are you located?
Dr Shelbee-Put the fender badges on that I got from Paul Bianco-looks great.
911fan-Love the sun roof on the mini-If I lived in Fl or Az would probably tint the window or have a sliding cover made.
Enjoy driving the F car the most but my G-kids love riding in the mini.
Thanks for the feed back guys-In spite of all the rancor recently this is a great forum with great enthusiasts! Thanks to Rob Lay!

Tyler, Mario,

Thanks for the input. Since I'm leaning toward blk/blk myself, Mario's comments are especially reassuring. I think I'm falling off the fence...!

Marty,

Which one is the most fun to drive?

I just got an 03 Cooper S at the store. 2,500 Miles and it has the glass roof. It was 100 degrees today and the sun shade underneath the glass works just fine. Cool enough for the A/C to blow cold....and this car is Black/Black.

911fan, the MCS I got for my mother has a sunroof. She loves it. I had the sunroof glass tinted along with the rest of the glass. She took it on a little overnight trip the other day and the sun did not bother her at all.

Martin,

I noticed you have a sunroof on the MCS. Would you get the S/R option again? I'm getting ready to order an MCS but am on the fence about the S/R because of the inability to block out all sunlight when it's too intense. I'd appreciate your comments...
