David / Mike: I made mention of this before. Pharell features this car in the video of a song called 'Frontin.' I think the car looks absolutely AWESOME in white! I can post the (large) video if you're interested in the song, but I'll tell you - white on black would've been stunning. Definetly a good looking car. Got any more pictures of it? --Dan | ||

The Miami Vice Testarossa was white with tan/beige interior. Better looking than you would think - but seems like a high premium for the celebrity ownership. When I was at Blackhorse a few weeks ago Rick told me he sold a white 550 to a rapper, I forget the name - but Ferrel rings a bell. He said he came in and requested a white 550. Rick got it from a Texas showroom - no mileage and sold it to him. I think this is the same car. Now it appears to be for sale again. Maybe the deal fell through or they just wanted it for the video. I will confirm this week when I go back to Blackhorse to get a visor fixed. FYI, I think Dr. Dre bought his 360 from Blackhorse too. They have a great inventory - 4 or 5 Barchettas currently on the floor plus an F40 and F50. If you live in the LA area definitely worth checking out.  *550 MARANELLO, S/N 126807 (2001 USA model). most you old bastards prolly don;t watch mtv- i don't usually either but was flipping thru and Ferrell- i think thats how you spell his name has a video with jz and it features a stationary white on red 550 with shields and i must say it is ••••••• beautiful what a ballsy color combo on something that cost a quarter mil- but damn- i can't stop thinking about it has anyone seen this combo on a 550 or 575? or any other ferrari anyone seen the video? |
