Martin,

Are you going to paint the calipers?

In re. to the shields, you can go one step further. There is a guy here in LA who fashioned a die cast and actually embosses the fender (exactly like the factory).

No way, Jose. My body guy gently rolled the shield to conform with the convexity of the fender then taped it on using the tape strips that Paul Bianco sent; around the perimeter of the shield and then a few strips horizontally.

How did you mount your shields? Did you drill holes in the fender?

Hi Kuzi-Hope you are coming to the Sun River weekend. It's a great place and a terrific weekend. The car show is very informal with many marques and the drive on Sun is great fun.
Jim-My body guy removed all the grills-the front grill took 5 min to do (6 screws) the others took somewhat longer to remove since he didn't want to spray paint unless the grill was removed.
There are small grills at the exhaust however I was concerned they would get exhaust crude coated so didn't do them.
Next time you"re coming to Portland give a call.

very nice. I am wondering how you got all those pieces off to paint? also, are there grills where the exhaust exits or not? did you color those?

I saw this car on tonkin's showroom floor and it was stunning. I just stared at it. pics do no justice!

Martin,
Very nice 575. I really like the "aluminum" look.

Marty - very nice! Great looking car. I think this is the best color for a 575 - and this adds to it.

Very sharp. THe distinction is subtle, but definetly a handsome change!
