As best I can tell, that's impossible to get into these days... at least for us 'mericans. I would love to take that series of courses!

Do you know FX performance? They go to Willow Springs in So Calif.

Lucio Nicoldi and Constantino Bertuzzi. Both involved in Challenge racing. You can drive your own car, or a Challenge car for extra $$$

I met them at the Concours Italiano.

Oh yeah, if you really want to have some fun you can also do the IRDC (ICSCC) races or at least driving classes here.

http://www.irdc-racing.com/
http://www.icscc.com/

As far as I can see, the SCCA's presence here in the northwest is a piece of paper I get in the mail here and there, oh and maybe some solo stuff at bremerton. But the grou pof guys in ICSCC are a really jolly bunch and quite nice. Additionally, one of the other racers who I'll leave anonymous (but doesn't drive a ferrari) is a technician at ferrari of seattle, so that's extra handy if you ever decide to do some racing with those clubs.

Robert, why not enrol with Ferrari Pilota Course in Mugello, Italy. It's 4,900 Euro with 2 nights accomodation, breakfast and dinner. Lunch is at the track. Take a holiday and enjpy your course. You'll get to drive the 360 M and F1 and the 575 M and F1. You'll be able to visit the factory while you're in Italy.

I've attended the Pilota at Mugello as well as the Advaced Pilota at Fiorano and they were worth the money. Contact your dealer and he can make all the arrangements.

Robert,
Just join your local FCA chapter. They have many track events, and all are considered "driver education". Bring your F-car and ask for an instructor to take you out. Top notch instructors, an open track day with other F-cars, and the instruction is free. Where else can you get a deal like that?
I always get an instructor to go out with me for at least one session during track days, just to get the fine points down. And they love what they do.

Hey Kevin,
I assume that since all your pics look just like mine, except smaller, that must be your 355 challenge. I'm the guy with the Viper that all you Ferrari owners pretty much ignored while I was there. Thanks for not contributing to my general feeling of having the plague. I am nearing the top of the f-car order list...really.

I need some help.I am building a new home with a large garage for 3 cars-a 550, a 360, and a nsx. The floor will be a black and white checkerboard pattern of some material. My "problem" is to find a tile type matrial for the floor which is reasonably priced, durable, easily cleaned etc. Griots Garage has some tiles which would work but the cost is ridiculous. The interlocking tiles from California Car Cover do not meet the required quality standard. Anyone have any suggestions/experience/ideas? Thanks.

You'll find many Ferrari track events include driver instruction. We usually do that with our Talladega roadcourse track event... see details and pics at

Has anyone taken part is a driving school for f-cars?? I think it would be great to track my car with other f-car's, and get driving tip's at the same time!! A 1 or 2 day class would be great!! It would also would be fun to get your club chapter to go out as a group..I am located in the Seattle Washington area, but would not mind to travel to calf, etc..Thank's for any input..Robert
