I just had to write this. Thank you, (fill in the blank for your favorite diety, higher power, person...etc.), for giving me the chance to own (or drive) a Ferrari. I have always loved cars. I am only recently a convert to the black horse. Sure, they were beautiful, but I was one of those people who somehow thought the rest of the adoration of the car was hype. I mean, drive a GT2 hard for an hour and tell me your Ferrari experience can match that... It can. The other night, calm, bit of coastal fog, no traffic. Out in the 575. Not speeding. Not even going fast. 2nd gear. Twisties. 5-7k RPM. Canyon walls. Tubi. Every now and then crank one of my favorite tunes from my drving mix, but mostly no radio, just engine and the road and the wind. I swear the engine is wired directly into your heart. Gotta go now... Guess where...  |
