Kuzi,

>>I also opted for the gangsta rap black<<

Good for you!!

I got a ridiculous option for the car. Its a dealer installed "performance package". HAHAHAHAHA!! I think I have a picture of it somewhere. Its comprised of an aftermarket cold air intake and Flowmaster exhaust. Now the car is not only big, but loud too. I think the exhaust noise adds some horsepower...Maybe if I put some stickers on the outside it will go faster? HAHAHAHA!! What a ridiculous car. When I have Jay-Z and Busta Rhymes shaking the very core of the car it should add some horsepower too!

Cheers

Taek, Kuzi&Kuzi- We'll have to call the FAA to clear the airspace surrounding such an event, but it sounds like fun!

It will take Jason and my cameras just to see around the H2 ;)

Best!

Kuzi,

With a 0-60 of 3.2 minutes I'll be tough to catch but you can certainly try. Just make sure there's enough room for us (5 lanes).

Although I was going to get the flashy yellow (as per Dan's request) I opted for the gangsta rap black.

Cheers

Noel,

Regarding said spinners, Taek is already on the job, having not only bought the 26" variants, but also cast his car in music videos as appropriate. Refer to song 'Ridin Spinners' for proof.

>>We could do a Fast and the Furious where I weave in and out from under your H2 while taking that hairpin down to HMB on 92 at 80mph. Then we could have Ben and Jason compete for best cinematographer!<<

Sounds like fun!

Taek,
We could do a Fast and the Furious where I weave in and out from under your H2 while taking that hairpin down to HMB on 92 at 80mph. Then we could have Ben and Jason compete for best cinematographer! :-)

My brother and I picked up the new H2 today which was purchased right after this meet.

The car is ridiculous in more ways than I can recollect. The car is just plain enormous. It exceeds some sort of weight thing so the window sticker doesn't even have gas mileage numbers. First time I've seen that!

So how about it Norm, wanna race? :-)

Norm- Scared? Those were squeals of glee! Thanks agian, awesome;)

Dan- funny you mentioned it, that's what I was trying to do, but the S230's autofocus didn't agree with me :-) The one I posted had about the best depth of field overall. (though I usually like very narrow DOF shots, creates magic and mystery in back/forgounds.)

Why is it I always want my SLR when I don't have it with me?
(Hey Norm, charge the batteries! <g> ;)

Best!

Ben,

You are too kind. Always in good company when you're around!

Very sweet shots - I particularly like the engine bay shot of Norm's car, framing the TR + Aprilia. I know it's after the fact, but I bet you could've won some sort of award if you were able to change the focus to those cars and blur the foreground.

As always, great shots. But we need one of Norm's scary reflective shirt - after all, what's a meet w/o Radioactive Norm? :-)

--Dan

PS: If you were any more red that day, you would've blended into Darryl's car w/o anyone noticing! :-)

You thought that was it? HA-HA! HA-HA!

Norm: ask and ye shal recive! (and thanks for giving me the extreme privlige of riding shotgun in your amazing 360! What a sound! Folks, Norm has a Fuchs/Cargraphic exhaust on his 360, and the sound is just amazing. High-pitched screamer, like an Indy Car. I literally got chills when he bliped the throttle on a downshift. Great meet guys! Too many people to single out, so here's a global thanks!

My Fav ferrari pic in a long time. Who amoung us cannot say they row through the gears like this in the garage?

I was my first time meeting everyone with the exception of Steve. Everyone seem nice and considerate of others. I echo the comments, the food was good. The drive was too short. Loved seeing the different types of cars. Can't wait to get together in two weeks! Someone took pics, where are they?

It was great meeting you Michael. Beautiful 360! I love the challenge grills...so sporty. I'm looking forward to hearing your car with the new exhaust. Not that it doesn't sound sick as it is. Being behind you when you got on it was quite intoxicating! :-)

Ahhh...yes, the CHP officer. I would chalk that one up to the 11-99 foundation plate you were sporting. That was NOT the heart-attack I wanted to start the morning off with :P

The story: Michael and I were heading up 280 at a reasonable, but brisk 85-90mph *cough* I mean 65 ;), when this dot on the horizon becomes a rapidly increasing presence in my rear view mirrror. At the rate he was catching us he must have been going over 110. Michael slowed down to 60-65 and sure enough a CHP officer comes flying up alongside Michael and slams on the brakes right next to him. Then he just sits there for about 2 exits and gets off. A couple minutes later he comes flying up again and then sits next to Michael for a few minutes before exiting once more. If that wasn't 11-99, then as Michael said, it must have been divine intervention because I was positive we were both getting pulled over.

Tariq, Norm, Stephen, Jason, Rich, Noel, Darryl, Taek and everyone else it was great to finally meet all of you. Ben, good to see you as always. What an awesome bunch of enthusiasts there were this morning! Those names I'm forgetting it's because I just woke up from a 2 hour nap and am still completely out of it...I apologize. Getting up this morning at 6:30am following going to bed at 3:30am has left me exhausted!

Norm...what an interior! Can't believe how good it looks. Descriptions just don't do it justice. I especially like the mirror you keep in the footwell so you can check out your feet while driving :P

Again, it was great meeting everyone and seeing all of your beautiful F-cars. I'm looking forward to the drive tentatively planned for 2 weeks out. Enjoy the rest of the long weekend!

I would venture a guess that there were at least 20 of us that showed up, including a contingent that drove down from Seattle!!!! (You guys are nuts.) The location was in Half Moon Bay, and if any of you are familiar with our bizarre weather systems here in the Bay Area.... All I can say is I left my house at 7:00 AM and it was beautiful and sunny, and as we crested the valley hills to the west to get to Half Moon Bay, we got to this:

Upload

I met up with Justin and he followed me over in his speedy Audi S4:

Upload

On the drive over I was for certain 100% busted by the CHP (highway patrol), but there was some divine intervention and I escaped his wrath. I will let Justin tell that story in more detail... =)

For some reason I didn't take many pictures! This is my only other one, which is the interior of StorminNormans 360 with its awesome carbon fiber backed sports seats:

Upload

I know others tooks more pics, so hopefully they will post them. It was great to finally put some faces with the people here online.
