Paul
Speedline - looks great!
They look right and they are OEM. That particular style was a dealer option in Germany when I lived there.
So, kinda period original equipment!

OK-they aren't origional but I like them.

17" Speedline modular. I think they look "right" on the car.

If you do get new rims, save the original ones to sell with the car...328 rims look fine as they are in my opinion though.

Im not much for updating rims, but Steve, your Mondial does look nice!

I agree with Dave completely...imho, some Fcars look great with aftermarket wheels yet on a 328 it sort of throws the car out of balance cosmetically.

No matter how great or expensive the aftermarket wheels are, not having originals will reduce the value of the car by about the amount it costs to replace them. It is dumb to sell the originals when getting new wheels.

Hi
Definately keep the original wheels as I did. You can always change it back if yo decide to sell the car

Mr. Green,

There are two schools of thought. Those who demand originality, and those who demand performance. Some people desire only original parts, even if better ones are available, while there are those who realize that 20 years of evolution have happened and demand the higher performance. As for rims, it is a visual thing, though may add performance due to lower weight and also more rubber meeting the road.

As for myself, i demand performance. Enzo nearly always added performance during a car's evolution, and a 328 has MANY YEARS of evolution to catch up to IMHO.

In the end it is YOUR choice. Neither is "right" or "wrong", it is "is". In the end what REALLY matters is that YOU...

Enjoy the Drive,

Steven R. Rochlin

PS: have both original and also aftermarket rims for the 308GTS QV here. The aftermarket offers better performance :-)

Original rims are always more expensive to replace because you have to buy them from the official dealer. So Though many owners like to personalise their cars, I feel changing the original parts will devalue the car.

I would never install anything on my Ferrari unless it's parts/components from the factory. I would fit Challenge rims and grills etc because they are Ferrari parts.

In any case I will keep the original parts and maybe fit them again before selling the car. If I buy a used car, I will insist on original parts.

Hi
This is really down to the buyer. If you want a car that is original then in your view it may decrease the value on the hand if the car looks better it might even increase the value. My Mondial T has 355 wheels fitted. It is not original but it definately looks much better.

Thanks
Steve

Will not having the original rims on a 328 hurt it's value. If you are using non original rims are there some brands that would more acceptable than others. Would you buy a car if it did not have the original rims.
