I checked my tire pressure yesterday and they all had about 40psi each instead of the 43psi called for in the manual. I added air to 45psi each and guess what, the tire roar decreased substantially ! It's amazing what just a little change in pressure will do. |

WmHart, the good thing about the high sidewalls is it gives you a nice ride. I don't drive the car hard enough to worry about the cornering ability of the TRXs anyway . I just wish they were a little quiter. |

My problem with those tires had less to do with noise than with driving on something that was antiquated; the high sidewall and snowtire quality tread diminished the performance of the car considerably. What was great in the early 80's falls far short today. But the cost of refitting with modern tires, different wheels, and then, having to suss out the suspension makes me doubt that its worth doing anything. I didn't, and just drove mine with the recognition that its cornering limits were lower than they should have been, cause of the tires. |

I have TRXs on my BBi.......no problem. Remember, the tire pressure is 43 PSI, so make sure they are at that level. Since these are not uni-directional tires, you can rotate them from side to side. I did this with my rear tires, since the right rear wears faster than the left rear. |

I have TRXs on my Testarossa and the tires are not loud, although I have heard this complaint before. Mine are half worn. |

Mine are loud at any speed over 50mph or so. The tread is good so I hate to spend $1k to replace them with new ones from Coker Tires. Does anyone else with TRXs on their Boxers have a problem with loud tires ? |
